Medlink Ports
Medlink Ports is an agile network made up of permanent members, more than 70 economic partners and institutional members. They pool their expertise and create synergy to increase more environmentally friendly multimodal traffic. Capable of handling up to three times more traffic, the Rhône Saône corridor provides an efficient and low-carbon solution for freight transport.
Created in 2015, Medlink Ports is an association that promotes and develops multimodal transport in the southern range of France. As the banner for the Mediterranean hinterland, it brings together river and sea ports in the Rhône-Saône corridor, drawing on the expertise of its 3 infrastructure managers CNR, VNF and SNCF Réseau. Flexible and responsive, the association has a permanent team that works on a daily basis with the operational departments of its members to prospect, advise and provide technical support on the decarbonisation of rail and river freight traffic.
