BrestPort, the company operating the commercial port of Brest, and the UMBR (Union Maritime of Brest and its Region) which brings together around forty port-related businesses, have joined forces under a single banner: “BrestPort Community.”
This initiative aims to:
- Increase the visibility of the Port of Brest
- Unite and promote its maritime stakeholders
- Offer optimal, consistent solutions to current and future clients, both regional and international
The Port of Brest offers a wide range of modern and efficient facilities:
- General Goods Terminals – for materials such as sand, scrap metal, and cement
- Agribulk Terminal – handling soy, rapeseed, soy cake, palm kernel cake, and palm oil
- Multimodal Terminal – operating 24/7, equipped with cranes and a RoRo gangway
- Ship Repair Area – featuring large dry docks and a specialized industrial zone
- Oil Terminal – dedicated to liquid bulk operations
- Offshore Renewable Energy Polder – purpose-built for marine energy projects
